Shieldfield Youth Group regular activities
The Shieldfield Youth Programme is an ongoing programme of activity developed by Dwellbeing Shieldfield and The NewBridge Project in collaboration with young people living in Shieldfield.
Youth Programme Regular session
On Wednesdays during term time the youth programme runs weekly sessions for young people aged 7-18years old who live or spend time in Shieldfield.
At these sessions we try different activities, spend time with our friends and of course share snacks!
Please note these sessions do not run during school holidays- keep an eye on our events over these times to find out what we have going on instead

Trip to Ouseburn Farm
As part of our Flourishing Together and Youth Programmes we will be going to visit the Ouseburn Farm to meet their animals and look at the garden.

Youth Programme Band camp!
During the easter holidays the youth programme will be running a band camp! Try some instruments and look at different types of music and get your rock on!
Sessions will be from 10am-1pm on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st April at The NewBridge Project with Kate, Dan, Elaine and Liberty. Instruments will be provided but you can bring your own if you want.
A performance on the Friday 22nd will be held at Star and Shadow. Time to be confirmed.

Baltic: Whats For Tea? Travelling gallery comes to Shieldfield!
As part of a series of projects marking its twentieth anniversary year, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead is bringing their custom-built mobile art gallery to Shieldfield! Drop in to look round and take part in different workshops. Activities are free, suitable and open for all!

Felt Nowt Comedy workshop and show - Youth Programme
Learn the basics of stand-up comedy with Lee from ‘Felt Nowt’ at the initial workshop and try out your new learnt skills at a show later in the week!
Graffiti Session- Youth Programme
Join us to have a go at graffiti with a local artist. This may become a bigger project in the future!
